Build with Klima: permissionless functions to automate offsets, fetch quotes, trade, and analyze market data—start today via the Carbonmark API, expand with the protocol.

The full protocol and app are scheduled for release by the end of December 2025. The actions described below will become available at that time.

All of the Klima protocol's functions are permissionless, which means they can be automated and integrated into any software system. Here are some examples of what is possible:

• Programmatically offset carbon for your customers or your business.

• Add Klima's carbon portfolio to your existing storefront.

• Fetch market-rate quotes for carbon credit purchases or sales.

• Analyze carbon market data and the complete state of the ecosystem.

• Build bots to automate trades or create price alerts.

When the Klima Protocol goes live in December 2025, this document will be updated to include everything you need to start Building with Klima.

For now, try experimenting with the Carbonmark API which already supports many of these capabilities today.
